Exciting FTA update - Just shot a performance promo clip for "Step Into My World" in our rehearsal space in the infamous NYC Music Building. 

Special thanks go out to director extraordinaire Dustin Waldman and assistant Matt Clegg for capturing the energy and vibe of FOUR TRIPS AHEAD in our home.

Tammany Hall Show - July 25th 2014

July 25th 2014, Tammany Hall, NYC - after months of recording, we performed live to launch our latest EP, "Love And Rebellion".

A BIG "thank you" to all of you who came out to Tammany Hall.  Despite the tiny stage, big cheers came from you all, making it a special night. Our new drummer, Ken Candelas, was welcomed with open arms and baptized by fire--moving bass drums be damned. 

For those of you who missed it, check out the fan videos that have been posted for "There's a Time" and "Good Times Goodbye".

Here a couple of shots from that show - and don't fret, we're planning some more gigs for this Fall 2014. More FTA news to come. Stay tuned...

NEW FTA Love and Rebellion EP OUT on Tuesday, May 27, 2014!

FTA Family--it's finally here!  We are extremely pleased to announce the official digital release of the new FOUR TRIPS AHEAD EP,  "Love and Rebellion" on Tuesday, May 27, 2014!

The past 14 months or so have seen us practically living in our rehearsal space writing and developing songs, playing memorable shows and tracking at Spin Recording Studios in NYC.  Though we faced many potentially challenging situations along the way, we succeeded in completing what we feel is our strongest, most cohesive work to date.  More importantly, we didn't compromise our artistic integrity and became a stronger unit.  No easy feat, we might add.  Just as exciting was getting one of our songs, "Run to You", mixed by the talented Nik Chinboukas (Testament, Alex Skolnick Trio, Acrassicauda, Chris Caffery) and the entire EP mastered by the legendary Roger Lian (Rush, Muse, Slayer, Coheed and Cambria), a true gentleman.  The artwork was realized by the creative genius that is Ken Candelas, who was pestered mercilessly by Peter while designing our album cover. "Love and Rebellion" is the culmination of a highly creative and fulfilling period that we are so excited to share with you.

In the meantime, we ask our fans in Europe and the rest of the world where quality hard rock/metal magazines are sold to seek out Fireworks UK's latest issue #64--FOUR TRIPS AHEAD are featured in the new music section with "Good Times Goodbye", a song from our upcoming release, on the sampler.  And stay tuned for announcements of upcoming live dates, a new lyric video for our new single, "Step Into My World", and other exciting news.

Opening for Eric Martin on January 16th at Tobacco Road

FTA Family!  It has been a while, but trust us--we've been very busy.  By the time you read this, we would have already entered Spin Recording Studios to finish up recording the final two tracks for our 5-track EP with the release scheduled tentatively for late February 2014.  The track listing will be forthcoming.  And we promise you that you won't be disappointed. BIG ROCK SOUNDS ABOUND!

In the meantime, our friends and big supporters at Fireworks UK have interviewed Peter about all things FTA.  Our European fans will be able to read it on Monday, December 16th in issue 61.  For those of you who order or pick up the fabulous magazine locally in England, our single, "Good Times Goodbye" will also be featured on the CD sampler that comes with it.  We promise to send you a link to the story as soon as it's available.

And finally, we are very excited about our first confirmed gig of 2014--FOUR TRIPS AHEAD will be opening for Eric Martin, lead singer of Mr. Big and solo artist extraordinaire, on Thursday, January 16th at Tobacco Road (355 West 41st. Street) right in the heart of Times Square in NYC! July Madness! Recording, video posturing, and headlining NYC Gig!

This July promises to be a busy month for us—Four Trips Ahead heads into Spin Recording Studios, our home away from home, at the beginning of the month to track four to five new songs.  In case you’re wondering what the new material sounds like, the tracks are melodic, heavy, groovy, diverse and exciting with some surprises.  Trust us, you definitely won’t be disappointed. We plan on releasing an EP in the fall of 2013, with a full length following sometime in 2014.  Remember, you can still buy our latest single, “Good Times Goodbye”, to get a taste of what’s going on—it’s available at iTunes and BandCamp. Play LOUDLY.

To complement our new release, we are planning to shoot a video for at least one of the new tracks in July as well. FTA will debut the video in the fall, right before our EP is released.  We promise to keep you posted about progress on the clip and our recording sessions in the coming weeks.
