Together with studio experts Johnny Nice (Amy Lee, Skillet, Rihanna) and Nick Cipriano (Dream Theater, Twisted Sister, Erasure), the Grammy and Emmy Award-winning sound engineer, vocalist Peter Wilson has produced the ten new songs at the Spin Recording Studios. Since 2005, FOUR TRIPS AHEAD from New York City have been producing sophisticated and honest Rock music. True to their band’s motto, ‘Reclaim Rock Music’, the original spirit of the genre has been revived. “…And The Fire Within” deals with the struggle for identity, self-reliance and confidence in the midst of chaos and conflict. This sets them apart from many of today’s one-dimensional and artificial Rock releases. The origins of FOUR TRIPS AHEAD go back to the year 2005, when the experienced New York musicians first met in search of a new creative outlet. They immediately recognized their common musical interests, composing sophisticated Heavy Rock sounds with strong melodies and progressive dynamics. The quartet soon brought their energetic music to the US East Coast and across the United States. In Europe, they have already marked their territory with interviews and sampler contributions in renowned Rock magazines, garnering great reviews and radio airplay in England, Germany, France and Belgium. With four EPs and a full-length album in their repertoire, their last EP, “Love and Rebellion” debuted at #6 on the CMJ Hard Rock/Metal Charts in February 2016. “…And The Fire Within” has already been a success at U.S. radio.
