Video, Amazon, UK Press and New Single!?! No sleep 'till...

FOUR TRIPS AHEAD is excited to announce the official release of the video for "This Night" on YouTube Thursday, January 27th at 8:00pm. Shot on location in Brooklyn and Hong Kong, we are really pleased with the clip directed by filmmaker-extraordinaire Joe Fiorello for Most Epic Triumph Films.  Can't wait for all of you to see it! "The Memories" EP will be available via Amazon.com on Tuesday, January 25th to coincide with the second wave of U.S. college and commercial radio promotion.  And the feature and review we've been promising from Fireworks UK has an official release date: Monday, February 7th.  Accompanying that issue will be a TSM Promotions two-disc sampler where the FTA track, "Remembering Who I Am", is featured prominently.  Various tracks from "The Memories" continue to get heavy airplay on various European stations as well as positive reviews from hard rock/metal press in France, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Sweden and England.

And if you thought that wasn't enough, FOUR TRIPS AHEAD plans to enter the studio in March to record a new single!  The track is a secret for now, but for those of you who have been to our recent shows, it has been the closing song.  Judging by your response to it this past weekend at the Highline Ballroom in NYC, I believe you will all be as fired up to hear it as we are to record it.  Think big, heavy, groovy anthem with soul and you're on the right path.

1. BUY "The Memories" at Amazon.com or from our website.  If you own it already, encourage your friends, enemies, family and pets to purchase a copy.  It'll make them smile.
2. LISTEN to "The Memories". A lot.  Loudly.
3. WATCH the video for "This Night" on YouTube.  Repeatedly.  And then tell all of your friends, Facebook ones and otherwise, to do the same.
4. READ about FOUR TRIPS AHEAD in Fireworks UK in a couple of weeks.
5. And SPREAD THE WORD on every available technological medium you can find.
6. REPEAT.

Rocking The New Year: Gig, Video, Radio And Mags!

Come down to bring in the New Year properly with FOUR TRIPS AHEAD on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at The Highline Ballroom (437 West 16th Street, between 9th and 10th Avenues), one of NYC's premier live venues.  It's an all-ages show so we expect you to bring the whole lot!  Be prepared for new songs and a high energy performance.  Can't wait to see you there! The hot new video for "This Night" was just completed!  Look out for a special release in the coming weeks, just in time for our next round of radio promotion for "The Memories."  Did someone say iPhone application?!?  And make sure you grab your copy of the January 2011 issue of Fireworks UK: our EP is reviewed and "Remembering Who I am" is on the TSM CD sampler that accompanies the issue.  By the way, our EP was voted the #5 EP of 2010 by TSM with "Remembering..." making the Top 50 songs of 2010 in the same polls.  Hot damn!

Holiday Rocking

Happy Holidays FTA Family! Lots of good news from the FTA camp: "Feel Anything" charted #2 on KRXX.com's B-list, a popular hard rock/metal on-line and on-air radio station in England for the week of 11/14/2010, while "This Night" went into heavy rotation on 11/28/2010. Incidentally, "The Memories" EP has charted on hard rock radio in England, France, Brazil and Belgium. And in case you missed it, we debuted at #5 on CMJ's Most Added Hard Rock/Metal Charts in early November 2010. Not bad for an independent release dear friends...

"The Memories" EP will be featured and reviewed with a brief interview in Fireworks UK's January 2010 issue. We will also be included on the TSM Promotions CD sampler that will accompany the magazine. They will either use "Feel Anything" or "Remembering Who I am" as the featured track. It hits newsstands next month with over 7,000 issues sold monthly. If you can't get your hands on a copy, we'll try to post the review link as soon as it's available.

In the meantime, "The Memories" EP was also given an excellent review this week on Uberrock.co.uk's site. Check it out for yourself:

CMJ Charts, Press, Gig, Oh my!

FTA Family! It has been a long time since we've spoken to you but we assure you that much has been going on in the FTA camp. So here goes: Our video for "This Night" is near completion with the finishing touches being administered by Most Epic Triumph Films' director extraordinaire Joe Fiorello. It is a bi-continental affair so prepare for a gritty, fun clip.

Continuing the international vibe, FOUR TRIPS AHEAD will be featured in the December 2010 issue of Fireworks UK, a great hard rock/metal publication available on-line and through physical subscription. Peter has a brief interview coupled with a review of "The Memories." FTA is also featured on the celebrated website www.rockrealms.com, showcasing our new release. Read them both and smile.

On the charts: FOUR TRIPS AHEAD's latest release, "The Memories", debuted in its first week as the #5 Most Added on CMJ's prestigious hard rock/metal charts this week (November 2, 2010). Rooftop Rocking in Brooklyn

Last night into the wee hours of the morning, with our inimitable director Joe Fiorello and family in tow quite literally, FTA shot the performance sequence for our upcoming video, "This Night."  Brooklyn rooftops never rocked so hard.  Check in regularly to see photos from the shoot as well as the awesome final product which should see the light of day in mid-September, just in time for our radio promotional campaign for "The Memories" EP.  In the immortal words of Ronnie James Dio, "LOOK OUT!".
